My name is Pauline and I started working at Park Regis in 2019, I started off my journey as a Conference and Events Supervisor. I thoroughly enjoyed this role and the team that I worked with were fantastic! This was where I found my love for developing people which prompted me to embark on another journey within the people team.

I applied for my current role as Regional People Assistant for the group and started completing my Level 3 CIPD qualification, which coupled with support of my manager and experience I was gaining on a daily basis set me up for success! I can’t wait to take the next step on my journey with Switch Hospitality!

Hi I’m Adam and I work in the kitchen brigade at Park Regis where I started as a Kitchen Porter. My Executive Chef noticed that I loved my job and that I was progressing naturally, so I was promoted to Commis Chef. I then completed my Level 2 in Professional Cookery Apprenticeship with support from the hotel.

This built my confidence and ensure that my career as a Chef was continuing to progress. Then around 3 months ago I was promoted again to Chef de Partie and I even stepped up to run the kitchen when my Executive Chef and Sous Chef were away from the business, to which I was rewarded and praised by the Senior Management team.

I always come into work with a smile on my face and take pride in my work so the customers have the best food in Birmingham!

I’m Lauren and my current role is the Conference & Events Manager at Park Regis. I started my career at Park Regis in June 2018 as a Reservations and Events Coordinator. I received great support and training from the Team, and I became Reservations and Events Supervisor a year later.

After a difficult year for anyone working in our industry, I’ve been very fortunate to work for such an innovative company. Our business is striving, and it has great to see our team grow. I then started my role of Assistant Reservations & Events Office Manager in October 2021, and then was delighted to be promoted again in December 2021 to my current role.

I’m looking forward to seeing the team develop and progress. I would really recommend Park Regis as a place to work for anyone looking for a career in Hospitality, it’s a company who really put the care of the people first.

Hi, I’m Cosimo, I have been working at Park Regis since 2016. I began working as a Credit Controller then moved quite quickly up to Assistant Financial Controller.

My manager was so supportive in my development, he ensured I had the right skills and tools to do my job and now I am the Hotel Finance Manager

I love the environment that I work in and I am excited that the company is expanding so quickly. I hope to grow with it and be in a regional role in the near future.

My name is Cleveland and I started working at nite nite hotel in the city centre in 2018 as a Night Auditor. After the hotel was closed down due to a flood, I was transferred over to Holiday Inn Express where I could continue my role as a Night Auditor.

Hospitality is my passion with over 20 years’ experience in hotel night work I wouldn’t do anything else. I recently completed my SIA training, it is key to know how to handle conflict during the night. I look forward to welcoming regular guests back soon.

Hi, I am Waqar and I work as a Front Office Supervisor, but that wasn't the case when I began my career at Park Regis as a Concierge Porter in 2018 and was promoted to a Receptionist about 6 months after, where I gained more confidence and accolades.

I have a can-do attitude that keeps me motivated to achieve greater success. I've been a top up seller for a long time and my manager noticed my hard work and desire to succeed in life and decided to promote me to Front Office Supervisor and Duty Manager.
